This Privacy Policy explains how Word Morph (“the app”) handles information when you use it. Word Morph is provided by Charlie Boa (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Information we collect
Word Morph does not require users to create an account or sign in.
We do not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, telephone number or contacts through the app.
The current version of Word Morph does not contain advertising and does not use personal information for advertising or marketing.
Gameplay information
The app may store gameplay information on your device, including settings, scores, puzzle progress, hints, streaks and daily-challenge progress. This information is used to provide the app’s features and improve your gameplay experience.
This gameplay information remains on your device and is not used to identify you. It may be removed if you clear the app’s data or uninstall the app.
Internet and technical information
The app may require an internet connection for certain features or to retrieve app content. When the app communicates with an online service, limited technical information—such as an IP address, device type and request time—may be processed automatically to deliver the requested content, maintain security and diagnose technical problems.
We do not sell personal information.
Sharing of information
We do not sell, rent or trade users’ personal information.
Limited technical information may be processed by service providers that help operate or deliver the app’s online functionality. Such providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services or comply with legal obligations.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights or the security of the app.
Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information associated with the app. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data retention and deletion
Gameplay information stored locally on your device remains there until it is removed through the app, the app’s storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled.
Word Morph currently does not provide user accounts and does not maintain an account database requiring an account-deletion process.
If you believe we hold information about you or want to request its deletion, contact us at support@charlieboa.dev. We will respond and delete eligible information where reasonably possible and legally required.
Children’s privacy
Word Morph is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at support@charlieboa.dev so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Future changes
We may introduce additional features in the future, including optional user accounts. Before introducing features that change how personal information is collected or used, we will update this Privacy Policy and make any disclosures or obtain any consent required by applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
